Hi,

I need help on how to fully utilize the " import Function" under Tools menue in HNFSMART 2.4FIX2.

Example I open a file containing a channel setting

After downloading it. I go

Toos

Import:-

Either Humax New Format

Or Satcodx

Two different screens appear

Now my question is While I know that these two screen are meant to help in importing files, but do not know the full  procedure how to do that and why importing in the first place.

Wud appreciate directing me as to where can I find a guide explaining how to use fully these two screens.

If you have already HNF containing channels, why you need to import???

if you want to make you own HNF file based to some Sats. you can use the Import Tool.

i.e
==

go to satcodx webpage and save the channels of a particular Sat with sdx format.

Import the file in HNFSmart, do not forget to specify the Sat. while importing...
You may import many files for different sats.
In this way, you are creating your Channels Settings depending of you Sat configuration.

Thks Ur reply which does not exactly answer my question.

I do have already a channel setting but I need to update certain providers frequencies.

Secondly I need to add a channel somtimes which is not listed in a provider list.

Thirdly I need somtimes to add Providers channel lists to an already existing  channel setting.

You see I was hoping for a stepwise lead thru guide.  May be you can help me locate a guide  to download.
